Regular Governing Board meetings are on February 18th and March 11th starting at 7pm and Special Governing Board meetings, dedicated to budget discussions, are on February 25th and March 4th at 6pm. All meetings will be held at Agnes Baptist School in the multi-purpose room.

Superintendent's Message


2009-2010 State of the District

All school districts, including our own, experienced significant budget cuts over the last year (approximately 20%) and had to make difficult decisions. In order to minimize the impact on students’ educational programs, the Stanislaus Union School District conducted a comprehensive process to set funding priorities that included stakeholders and sacrifices from every level of the district. Volunteer employee “furloughs”, the closing of one school, and proactive modifications in our class sizes, along with some staffing reductions, resulted from the priorities set during our cooperative process. Some of the state’s drastic funding reductions were made last year while others began this fall.
